LEATHER CARE GUIDE

Take care of your leather accessories to lengthen their useful life.

Our leather dog accessories are crafted from 100% vegetable-tanned leather sourced in Tuscany, Italy. Like all fine Italian leather, they need proper attention and care. Treat them well and they will last for years.

  • Store away from direct sunlight and artificial heat
  • Air out naturally after each wear
  • Wipe clean with a soft cloth or brush after use
  • Blot moisture immediately — do not rub
  • Treat with a specialized leather conditioner every 3–6 months
  • Spot clean with mild soap flakes and warm water only
  • Do not use on rainy days, beach days, or anywhere near water — humidity and moisture can damage the leather coating over time
  • Do not machine wash
  • Do not dry near a radiator or with a hairdryer

A note on fit and use: This collar is designed for daily wear, not heavy pulling. Not recommended for dogs over 50 lbs or pets prone to chewing on their accessories.

U.S. Domestic Shipping

  • We offer free standard shipping via UPS on all U.S. orders over $150. Orders under $150 are subject to a shipping fee calculated at checkout. Please note that free shipping does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
  • We will offer free standard shipping on domestic orders over $150.

International Shipping Outside Of U.S.

  • We ship internationally to any location serviced by UPS and DHL. All duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. You can also check the status of your order at any time by visiting our Track My Order page.

Where is my package shipping from?

  • Depending on the items, most of them are shipped from our headquarters in New York. Some items, such as people's clothing, are shipped from our warehouse in Los Angeles, California, or from our international warehouses.

Cancellations & Returns

  • If you would like to cancel or edit your order, please contact hello@shibandco.com within 30 minutes. We will do our best to place a hold on your order for cancellation or changes. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. We offer a 14-day return window on eligible items in accordance with our Return & Exchange Policy. To submit a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Portal.

Lost & Damaged Packages

  • If you receive a package that appears to have been damaged, opened, or tampered with during transit, you must: (a) document the condition of the package and its contents with photographs before discarding any packaging materials; (b) notify SHIBA & Co. within 48 hours of receipt by emailing hello@shibandco.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs; and (c) file a damage claim directly with the shipping carrier. SHIBA & Co. will make commercially reasonable efforts to assist you with the carrier claim process, but is not liable for damage, theft, or loss caused by the carrier. Failure to report damage within 48 hours may limit our ability to assist with a carrier claim.

Return & Exchange

Return & Exchange Policy

We accept Returns and Exchanges up to 14 days from the date the order is delivered on items in original, sellable condition with no signs of wear/damage and all original tags attached. Sale items are non-refundable & non-exchangeable.

    We accept international returns and exchanges; customers are responsible for shipping and any applicable duties, please email hello@shibandco.com with your order number details.

    All returns and exchanges are subject to a $10 restocking fee. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

    RETURN CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

    Please note that we only issue refunds on items that are unused and undamaged, unless the item arrived damaged. Items that are returned with dirt, dog hair, slobber, or any other unsanitary condition may not be eligible for a refund. Items should be returned unused and with all SHIBA & Co. garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled, or not in sellable condition may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. All determinations regarding item condition and eligibility for return or exchange will be made at SHIBA & Co.’s sole discretion and are final.

     

    RETURNING YOUR PURCHASE

    All returns must be made within 10 days of receiving the return approval confirmation. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. 

     

    EXCHANGES

    Please note you can only exchange items for a different size, based on stock availability. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately. Exchanges made to destinations outside of the U.S. will be processed for customs clearance and therefore any relevant import duty and tax charges will apply. 

     

    REFUND PROCESS

    After the refund has been processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Refunds are typically issued within 15 business days from confirmation at the warehouse as long as the product(s) meets the Return Policy requirements.

     

    SALE ITEMS

    Sale items can only be exchanged or returned for store credit. Refunds cannot be issued for sale items. Items marked "Sale" or showing a compare-at price are non-refundable & non-exchangeable.

     

    FAULTY GOODS

    Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 1 week of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund.

    The best Harness ever

    The SHiba & Co. Milano Italian Leather Dog Harness is, without a doubt, the best harness I have ever purchased. The quality of the Italian leather is exceptional, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Not only is it incredibly well made, but it also looks beautiful—attractive, elegant, and stylish.

    The only downside is that they sell out so quickly! Of course, that's also a testament to how great the product is. It's clear that people love it, and word has spread. I just wish there were more available because they don't stay in stock for long. If you can get one, I highly recommend it!

    Classy and Well-made

    I've been searching for the perfect orange collar to match my Shiba's color, and I finally found it in the Lucca collar. It arrived last week in this cute orange box and it's already become our go-to choice. I got a Medium size for my 31lb Shiba, which fits very well on the third-to-last notch.

    After a week of daily walks, I'm happy that this collar has shown no signs of wear and tear. It's robust enough to handle my dog's occasional tugging – and trust me, he's a strong one!

    Nightmare

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Shiba & Co has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

    For a company that presents itself as a premium, luxury lifestyle brand, I expected products that reflected their price point and customer service that stood behind those products. Unfortunately, I received neither.

    The products were well cared for and used exclusively during regular walks. Despite this, they developed issues that should not occur considering their cost. When I contacted customer service, I was met with generic explanations that blamed normal wear and tear rather than addressing my concerns. The responses felt like standard copy-and-paste excuses instead of a genuine attempt to resolve the issue.

    What made the experience even worse was the lack of communication. I repeatedly had to send emails, messages, and follow-ups just to receive any response or update. As a customer, I should not have to chase a company for basic communication regarding products that were returned to them.

    The "solution" that was eventually offered was disappointing and did not address the defective products, the time I invested trying to resolve the issue, or the poor customer service throughout the process. At this point, I have simply requested that my original products be returned because I have completely lost confidence in this company.

    For a brand that markets itself as high-end, I expected accountability, quality, and customer care. Instead, I experienced poor communication, unsatisfactory support, and a resolution that left me feeling like my concerns were dismissed.

    Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from Shiba & Co. There are many other pet brands that offer quality products while also standing behind them and treating their customers with respect.

    Great-looking harness and very functional. My Shiba weighs 23 lbs, and the small size fits perfectly with a little room to spare. It feels secure, is easy to put on, and seems comfortable for him to wear. I would definitely recommend it for other Shiba owners.

    I’m very disappointed with my experience. I purchased a leash and harness from this company about 2 months ago, and while I was initially happy with the look and feel, that didn’t last.

    Over time, the quality has not held up as expected. The leather now seems questionable, and it does not appear to be as durable or high-quality as advertised. For the price, I expected something that would last much longer.

    What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer service. I’ve reached out twice to try to resolve the issue and have received no response at all. It’s incredibly disappointing to be ignored as a customer, especially when trying to address a legitimate concern.

    Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this company. The product quality and customer support simply don’t meet expectations.
